Settling In
Settling-in service is a comprehensive post-arrival support where the employee/family are assisted by Partner to settle-in their new home and neighbourhood and day to day living quickly and smoothly.
The support should be customised according to the employee’s needs and can include but not to the following:
- Set-up of utilities – support with Gas Water, Electricity connections
Support with hook-up of media services (TV, telephone, internet and mobile). - Provide information on local registration with the authorities (if applicable), advise on documents required, cost and support with making the appointments, if possible
- Support with and provide information on the banking system and banks - accounts/debit/credit cards etc. make an appointment on behalf of the employee at their selected bank
- Provide information on Conversion of Driver’s license process including detailed steps, documents required, cost and time line
- Supply contact details of reputable independent insurance brokers (household insurance etc.). Arrange appointment, if required
- Provide details and contacts emergency numbers, local hospitals, doctors, dentists etc. together with registration process
- Provide details and contacts for networking in the international community (clubs, organisations etc.)
- Accompanied local neighbourhood tour – grocery stores, shopping facilities, hairdressers, place of worship, doctor, dentist, local hospital etc.
