Furniture Rental Coordination
Some countries/areas it is not possible to find furnished apartments on the market or it is not feasible to transport the employee’s household goods. If the client requests this service, it should include the following:
- Contact the approved rental furniture firm and advise an outline of requirements according to the client policy
- Request an offer complete with full details of furniture to be provided
- Advise client of the details and cost
- Organise delivery appointment and also collection appointment
- Follow up regularly with the furniture rental company to ensure a timely delivery
- Regularly update the employee on the delivery information
- Report regularly regarding the status until delivery
- Provide full details of the furniture rental – length of contract, furniture inventory, cost etc.
Note: Sometimes the employee is allowed to select the furniture within the budget stated by the client policy
